Jami Tharp Wow!! Talk about a phenomenal experience!! We were in the area for racing in Viola and were looking to kill some time. My niece was with us and she had been talking about getting her double piercing in her ears and I thought that I would surprise her with doing it as a back to school thing. I looked up ear piercing and discovered that the Merle Norman in Galesburg does piercings. We showed up there and I went in and asked if they would have time to do a double piercing. When I walked in I was greeted by two very kind women and the one said yes of course. I went back out to my vehicle and brought my niece in. She had no idea that this was the plan for the day. She came in and was talking to the lady and the lady explained the process to my niece and gave her the earrings to choose from. My niece was so excited and found the perfect pair. The lady doing the piercing made sure she was completely happy about the markings on her ears and where the earrings would be before she proceeded on to actually doing the piercings. She handed my niece a little stuffed bunny that had its ears pierced and then did the piercings. She handed my niece 2 ice packs immediately after finishing the piercings. She checked us out, explained the cleaning process and we were on our way. I would 100% recommend going to this Merle Norman. Sidenote: they have A LOT of cute items in their store. Purses, hats, sunglasses etc and all were very reasonably priced. Go check them out if youre in the area!

Melissa Norvell I took my 8 year old daughter and 2 of her friends to the Merle Norman Studio in Galesburg, IL today for makeovers to celebrate her birthday. The ladies there were absolutely fantastic and treated us all extremely well. It couldnt have been a better experience for everyone. Thank you very much.

When we moved here 35+ years ago, she was the 1st to cut my hair, and gave my kids their 1st haircuts. Now its like family when I go there. Everyone knows everyone. We share our joys & tears, photos of kids. What a great place!

I love the fact that they know what you want done even when you only have an idea and a picture. Everytime I get my hair done I leave extremely satisfied and looking faboo.

Christie Jack I had a wedding hair style done here and, let me tell you, the staff here is amazing. We were pressed for time due to day light savings not being factored in to our destination wedding time but they got my hair and makeup done in quick time and it all was amazing. I was even more amazed at how reasonable the prices were....she deserved far more so I left her with a healthy tip to make up for the service being worth far more than it cost me. These gals were amazing and worth working with. I did have to work with these gals via phone due to this being a destination wedding and that was all smooth as well.

Laura Nelson Jeanine has done my hair since I was 16! She truly loves what she does. Not somewhere that you can score a walk in appointment because both Jeanine and Kelsey are booked weeks sometimes months in advance. Plan accordingly if you want to give them a try.

Charmaine Morrison Got the Brazilian wax she is so nice and makes sure you are comfortable the entire time. Has a great special Monday-Wednesday you get free eye brow threading and tinting when you get a Brazilian wax. Will definitely return the results are AMAZING!!
