Jim Adams I have been a customer of A Kut Above since the early 1980s, and to this very day, it is the quintessential cie chic styling salon in the region, chic, yet affordable. Melanie and Angela are a great team and a well oiled machine, coming nothing short of highly rdcommended. Do pay them a visit and grant to them your patronage. In all of my 35+ years as client of A Kut Above, never have I had a negative experience, and not only do I recommend them, either Mel or Angie, I believe in them. Never anything short of knowledgeable and the premiere stylists in Forgotinia.

Saed Diaz I get my haircuts from Chris, as a barber I can say that he has mastered a wide range of modern haircuts. He is profesional, responsable and a good guy. If you want something new and modern he’s you’re guy.

Heather Jean Went in for a simple bob haircut that’s longer in the front and shorter in the back. Showed a picture and she started cutting. She ended up trying to stack the back leaving it SO uneven and choppy. Going to have to find someone to fix it. Looks like a kid took scissors to the back of my head !

Finnlie Urbana I was just in there about an hour ago for a bang trim. When I say Im embarrassed for people to see my hair, I dont even want to step out of my house till it grows out. I even went to another salon after to see if it can be fixed but unfortunately itll have to grow out before anything can be done to fix it. I had Rick and asked him how long hes been cutting hair. He said 30 years. Tell me why he doesnt know the simple rule of that when you cut wet hair it shrinks about an inch. I showed him pictures of how my hair was before and how I wanted it less full, but cut a smidge above my eyebrow. This was my first time coming in to this salon. Thankfully hats exist so I can cover this up till it grows out

Coffee Chaos Macabre I went to get a haircut for the first time in 4 years, I had 12 inches cut off and my stylist did absolutely phenomenal! She listened to what I wanted and was super friendly. I will definitely be back to see her when I need more done!

She ROCKED my color and gave me the best cut for my thick hair. I enjoyed our conversation and her creativity, in her work. I was amazed and received so many compliments today. Christina Brokaw I had my apt scheduled and the hairdresser was at lunch when I got there. Didn’t apologize and stated I have the wrong time could I schedule another day. I know it was the time I was there because we discussed it would take 3 hours and I had an apt scheduled at 3 pm that same day. Very frustrating and atleast apologize but don’t lie
