Kujawa & Batteau PC - Pinckneyville Toni Borum: Batteau had possession of my personal tax records for 2024 and my business tax records from Feb. 8th, 2025 to June 3rd, 2025. I did not receive my completed tax returns until June 6th. My estimated quarterly tax for April 15th is now late. He flat out lied and said my personal taxes were completed and submitted on April 15th and that he would have to check and see why i hadnt received my copies. He requested an extension on my company return! What, he had everything he needed from me for 3 months! When I called again 3 weeks later he lied again and said he would have to check and see when it was mailed. He knew it was locked in his office and his office secretary told me so. June 3rd after numerous emails, texts, calls I was told by Nikki that my return was still in their office and would finally be mailed by UPS the next day. Batteau has yet to answer his work phone or cell phone or return my calls as to why I wasnt told to send a quarterly payment to the IRS by April 15th. Now do I get a penalty? Dont know he wont call me and you cant leave a message because every ext at the office has a full voice mail box. Do not use Kevin Batteau for your tax preparation you will be disappointed and maybe be given penalties because of his incompetence. I would love to post all his lying emails and I might just do that. By the way the only reason I think I got through on the phone was because I threatened to have police come and retrieve my records. Poor excuse for a PC
