1 /5 Emily Oler: Extremely low quality experience. Upon reaching out for post-close legal entity advice, I was mislead to believe the team would provide value in an engagement. The team focused their time incorrectly on a detailed review and markup of the purchase agreement, which was not able to be modified given the transaction timing--information I had shared with them in advance of the engagement--rendering their "advice" virtually worthless. Recognizing this, the team promised me additional follow up from the team to conduct some research into whether certain tax advice would indeed apply to my industry segment. They never reached back out and sent me a bill for $2,800, which I asked them to reconsider, and was never replied to. I should have paid closer attention to the mannerisms of the team in advance of payment, as I received no call back to my initial outreach and and very unprofessional demand for prompt retainer deposit shortly after making initial contact.
Would run, not walk, from this company.
