Michell changed her beneficiary on her life insurance from her ex to me.... two years later we discovered her ex husband was still freaking listed as beneficiary. So if she had died in that time, he would have gotten the money and her kids would have seen squat, while I would have been left covering her funeral. Then , more recently, we sold our old car and bought our sons truck from him. Our son bought his own car and got his own insurance elsewhere... yet we are still paying more for one vehicle than we did for both when we had them . Weve tried contacting the agent multiple times, and the receptionist tells us hes not in but hell call us back.... NEVER ONCE has he called back . We have every intention of taking our business to the vandalia office, and if service doesnt drastically improve, we will go with a whole new company!!!

Andrew was great to work with until he wasn’t. After going back and forth through email, Andrew disappeared with zero explanation. I figured that’s okay, things happen, no problem. I sent multiple follow-up emails over the course of a couple weeks and I heard crickets back. I contacted the office manager, Terry, who was very kind and helpful. Andrew finally got back to me after almost a month saying that no competitive quotes were available. Couldn’t that have been said sooner rather than completely disappearing on a potential client? To make a long story short, I will be seeking out other independent insurance agents in the future. I would not recommended working with Taft Insurance.
