1 /5 Karen Purvis: My husband and I had home owners and car insurance through Gower Insurance in 2004. I was a first time mom and my son was 3 weeks old and in my lack of sleep I’d forgotten to pay our premium, it was one day late. When I brought the payment to the office Carol treated me so rudely. She suggested that perhaps I needed to learn how to pay my bills. I was mortified, I’d never been late with any bill. I remember leaving her office and crying. I’ve never forgotten how unkind she was to me, and because of her I always try to be very considerate of new mothers and all that they are juggling. I definitely would not recommend this agency.
