World Finance - Crest Hill Damien Robinson: I’ve been referring people to this location and, up until recently, everything had been going smoothly. The clerks, Erica and Kendra (who is still in training), have done a wonderful job assisting with my referrals — they were helpful, courteous, and professional.
However, my experience took a turn when Ashley, who I believe is a manager, stepped in. She stated that I would receive a check once the person I referred confirmed — something that had already happened multiple times, as this is now my third referral.
Rather than being greeted with appreciation for supporting the business, I was met with unprofessionalism and negative body language from Ashley. It left a bad impression and made me feel unwelcome.
If issuing a few $25 referral checks is problematic or causes discomfort for management, I’ll gladly take my business — and referrals — to a place where they value growth, commission opportunities, and customer relationships. It’s unfortunate that the front-line staff have to work under that kind of leadership.
