1 /5 Nicole hall: Absolutely horrible service. The lady at the front desk tried to ask for help from one of the sales rep and his answer was “I’m off the clock in 17 minutes”. She messaged/called another sales rep and we watched him ignore his phone whilst walking on the treadmill. The lady at the front desk was doing her best, so i respect her. She gets 5/5 for trying to help. But the whole establishment? Not a fan. Weights scattered everywhere, clutter, dirt. I’m not looking for a pristine gym, but for those of us who are paying all this money, we should have some type of quality. I’d rather be at planet fitness.

5 /5 Diana Garcia: The sauna is super warm. It does get busy and crowded but I most always find a treadmill around 6-630pm

3 /5 john beran: Nice gym, quite a bit of equipment and weights. Basketball court, Pool, and a few other rooms for classes they have. Its very clean and well kept. It would be at 4 stars but I feel its a bit pricey for what you get, that would be my only minor complaint.

1 /5 darpel caybot: the only LA fitness ive been to that kettlebells are for “trainers only” with a negative trainer checked around the main floor for any kettlebell to use and there was none. there were an entire rack of it in the personal training area so I approached these 2 trainers who were chatting in the bar and I politely said - excuse me, may I use one of the kettlebell because (was cut off by the trainer) and he directly refused and said “that is for the trainers use only” and that should stay there and went back to chatting with the other trainer. he could have had handle it nicely like not cutting me off and maybe say “our apologies but these kettlebells are for trainers only, let me help you find something that you might be able to use instead.”

1 /5 Adam Zagata: Service not great. False promises. I don’t appreciate being asked to leave training area when I’m on a training plan. Especially after recent cancellations. Training area is 100% empty. The neighborhood deserves better. LA fitness needs to do better.

You’re representing who you work for and kind you you’re working for a gym - why do you expect your clueless customers to do your job. This goes for that guy at melrose park LA as well. I’ll forever go to brickyard LA (Jason is the best) and I will continue to go to PF where they actually care about you bye

Truly Davis: Trainer Robert has been amazing. Ive previously done everything from crossfit, Kettlebells, Personal Training, ymca classes, actual bootcamp etc, and XS has been the best for me. Robert makes small form corrections that completely change the movement and target the proper areas. He keeps the session fun with the right intensity. Hes knowledgeable, polite, friendly, respectful, and is helping me see results. Im so happy to have found this gym and trainer.

Jen Miller: I recently tried a Bungee Level 1 class (or 4) and it was such an incredible experience! From the moment we got strapped in, the energy in the room was contagious. The class is the perfect mix of fun and fitness. So much that you almost forget you’re working out because you’re having such a blast bouncing, flying, and moving to the music. What I loved most is how it felt compared to any other workout. The harness gives you this weightless feeling that makes everything whether it’s squats, jumps, or cardio moves more exciting and a lot easier on the joints. It’s a fantastic workout for both strength and cardio, and my body was definitely feeling it the next day but in a good way. Gina made it approachable and safe, guiding us through each move and encouraging everyone to just let go and have fun. Even as a beginner, I never felt out of place as it’s designed to ease you into the bungee basics while still giving you a full-body workout. Everyone is the class is encouraging and excited when you accomplish something you didn’t think you could do. If you’re looking for something new, energizing, and ridiculously fun, I highly recommend trying a Bungee Level 1 class at JJR. You’ll laugh, sweat, and leave with the biggest smile on your face! You never know you may even make a few new friends.

Jose Marez: The music is to loud, if I can hear it through my topped out headphones its too loud. As well as the country music, I understand the owner may like it, but not everyone is the same. A radio friendly station that appeals to everyone would be more ideal, since we can hear it thru out headphones anyway.

Brandon Miller: Clean gym with enough equipment to accomodate any type of workout. Cant beat the 24 hrs and during off hours there are times when you have the entire gym to yourself. Cant beat it for a dollar a day!
