5 /5 Anderson Ch: I signed up for LA Fitness at the end of May. My very first experience with this gym was actually as a guest about two years ago. Back then the gym was packed, so I completely understood the “appointment-only” policy — it was difficult to get a full workout in during those busy hours. They rescheduled me for another day and provided a guest pass, which ended up being a much better experience. The gym was less crowded, the staff took their time with me, and when I officially signed up they even gave me a free water bottle.
I usually come in during the mornings, and I believe the general manager, Gonzalez, is the one who’s always cleaning and taking care of the gym himself. What stands out is that he still talks to me the same way he did from day one — respectful, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. He’s the type of manager who remembers you, makes you feel comfortable, and creates a positive atmosphere for everyone who walks in. It really feels like he sets the tone for the whole club.
The equipment is well-maintained, the gym is cleaner than most places I’ve been to, and the staff is consistent when it comes to customer service. I’ve been a member for months now, and I can honestly say I plan to stay for years to come. It’s a great environment, great team, and a place that truly motivates you to keep showing up.
