1 /5 J Dub: Im giving 1 star because I couldnt rate lower. Walked in about 2 weeks ago looking to talk to someone about homeowners ins. The lady greeted me after I stood there. She asked what I wanted. I told her I was looking to get a different H.O policy I was unsatisfied with my current. She asked me what I needed to know? I said I dont need to know anything, I want to see what your agency has available. She proceeds to ask again what I need to know? I said I want to see if i can be placed with someone else my current policy isnt good. She proceeded to tell me she didnt think there was anything she could do. Without checking any of my stuff or getting information from me, she proceeds to tell me she cant place me with Pekin because I am not with them already and I dont have auto. So she basically didnt want to help me with anything because it was 3:47 and they close at 4:30. I am completely aware how insurance works if a company wont write new HO business without auto but she wasnt into asking if I wanted quoted a multi policy for HO and auto. She didnt even offer to obtain any of the standard information to run through the system to obtain my insurance score or look at pricing for underwriting and to bind a policy. DO NOT waste your time with this agency. Its to difficult for them to verbalize they arent interested in adding to their book of business. They deserve to have their license revoked by the IDOI.
