1 /5 Omar Diaz: Theyre annoying and barely understand their own system. My bank has been flagging their payments as fraud since the end of last year. Ive talked to the multiple times, and they just deflect and blame the bank. My bank has given me a different card, has offered to open another account. Their withdrawals are being flagged as suspicious. 03/21/25 payment was reversed, I call them 04/05/2025 (because I missed a call from them, where they were trying to extend my loan lol ironic huh?) and ask them about it. I get told that account is in good standing and that they cant even see the messages corporate has sent me. Which is why she was offering to give me even more money. Even stated she opened up the messages and nothing was there. 04/07/25 they call me to tell me my account is overdue. At this point Im convinced theyre trying their absolute hardest to keep you on late fees, and extending the loan.
Extremely unprofessional, they answer the phone as if its a friend calling "hello!?", and even after countless calls with them about the situation, they continue the same tactics. Ghetto with a capital G. Unless youre in a serious emergency like I was, stay away. As predatory as they come.
Update: 04/07/25 received another message saying the payment I just did from my debit card is being returned. Immediately called my bank. Nothing is flagging up as returned on their end. They fully blame one main financial, and are actually asking for a 3 way call because the issue is definitely not on the banks side. As of 12:22pm my payment is pending in my bank account, but apparently was returned according to One Main. Very suspicious activity and Capital One was not surprised in the slightest over the behavior.
Now imagine dealing with all of this while working on the side of the road, fixing a semi truck. Seriously stay away, at this point Im going to find someone to consolidate this loan. Would never want to deal with these guys again.
