Northwestern Mutual - Champaign Adam Gauze: Long story short, I was reached out to by someone at this company as a friend gave my contact to them, I was not interested and let them know. A month or so later I got another call, and to be honest, I did hang up once I realized that once again I was being solicited. Below is the voicemail I was left, in my opinion this is beyond unprofessional, I too work in sales and when hung up on, you move on. There is no place for a voicemail like this to be left.
“Hey this is David about Nick you just hung up on me again I wanted to let you know Im not gonna try and call you again but Im not trying to tell you anything Josh just thought we get along I think he was probably wrong there based on the fact that you hang up on somebody and um I just wanna let you know that I was trying to help you um but it doesnt seem like we do good fit so dont worry…”
The tone of voice is also not pleasant, again, I understand that hanging up is not the best thing to do, but when already telling someone youre not interested and being bothered while at work, it gets old quick.
