Derrick D. Burns: I was convicted of a Federal felony for making a bomb threat when I was a young man to my school. This happened over 10 years ago and I recently reached out to Stobbs Law Firm and spoke to attorney John Stobbs. He asked me what the felony charge was and I told him and he flat out said “Yeah you’re not going to get a pardon for that. I’m not the one that wants to take your case” I said but people have received Federal pardons for far worse like murder and espionage. Mine was only words. He reiterated that he wasn’t interested in taking my case. Moreover, I was referred to him by the original attorney that worked on my case and he still declined. I am a changed young man, and I don’t think the same but to have this law firm hold this over my shoulder and would not allow me a second chance. It’s absolutely horrent. I wish the best for anyone seeking a federal pardon for anyone seeking this law firm and this attorney.

Laura Ursprung: If I could give less than 1 star, I would. There was no issue setting up the trust, and in fact, they were quick and responsive. Since the setup of the trust, however, none of the communication has been pleasant. Instead, it was been rude, condescending, and unhelpful (not concise. As a writing and communications professional, I recognize, concise, clear and to the point). If you simply want someone to set up the trust and you never intend to need to speak to your estate planner again, then yup, these are your attorneys. If you want someone who will still answer your questions even after you have after the initial consult and they have received payment, don’t expect that.
