Jessica My family and I used to choose this church as our main one to attend for Christmas, Easter, and church service. Unfortunately, the traditional Christian values and beliefs of this church that my family loved completely disappeared when a change of paster happened. Now this place is filled with Pride flags, inclusiveness and they are teaching children ridiculous lessons based around the LGBTQ following. Traditional Christian values show that the Pride community is in fact a cult. The fact that this sin is now being celebrated in a Christian church is absolutely disappointing. This once beloved church of ours has turned completely Left/Liberal. Its a horrible shame and a hypocrisy that a place known for "Christian beliefs" then turn around and shove complete sin down our throats. We attended for one more Easter service, and felt uncomfortable the whole time. Half the crowd was there from what it used to look like - almost a full house-. This place is going downhill fast. If youre looking for a church with traditional Christian and conservative views, this is definitely NOT the one; anymore. If youre a part of the Liberal and LGBTQ/Pride cult, this is your place.

Verijah Sanchez My husband from Hawaii. I am from California. We are a military family and we live in this area currently, and looking for a good Bible teaching church. My observation is that the main service at 10am is not very diverse which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. We do not speak Spanish so the Spanish service was not an option for us. Coming from the west coast, we expected a bit more of a welcoming vibe but found many wondering stares. About 20 ppl in a room; and some shared about Venezuela and Singapore outreach yet we didn’t feel accepted being from a different background. We felt very out of place. Don’t get me wrong-Yes, this is good Bible teaching church but knowledge without the love of Christ is nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1. Thank you to the gentleman at the end of the service that said, “Hope you enjoyed it, have a good afternoon.” That one person made it a little less uncomfortable.

Jaemee Cordero Very sad, I have gone to this parish for years and used to enjoy its welcoming community;the last sermon I listened to here got too political; experienced a sermon that encouraged us to vote for Trump (idc if youre a trump person, I just dont want to be campaigned to when I am trying to pray), gaybashing and homophobic. dont go here if you actually just want to focus on the love of God and spirituality

Geovanny Ramirez Have attended this parish for 1 1/2 yrs since moving to Yorkville. I am thankful for god guiding me here. It has helped me find my faith. I have learned so much in this short time compared to the last 20+ years previous to finding this parish.
Father Matt and all the deacons are wonderful and guiding. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and welcoming.
My kids look forward to going to mass and ask to help the church. My son asked to be an alter server and my daughter helps guide the younger children understand the readings.

Kevin Wassler A great connection with God and the people that attend this church happened when my family and I joined over 3 years ago. We find that we are more encouraged to attend each week and find ourselves discussing the worship and service long after its over. We are also involved with the Church in small groups, Kid City program and Stuco. Were happy that we found a place like Community and a place to join friends for worship.

Katrina Witwicki If you are looking for a church, give Community Yorkville a try. We have been attending Community for about 9 years. We were drawn here initially for the amazing kids ministries. They also have engaging & fun programs for middle & high school students. The people here are genuine, supportive and like family to us. Weve grown in faith and friendships and are so happy this is our church home.

Justin Wise My family and I love Community Christian Church. From the first time we first stepped into this church, we have felt welcome and part of a church family that cares about us. The rooms in Kids City have the most wonderful leaders for our kids and our children have learned so much about God through them. I would HIGHLY recommend Community to anyone looking for a church home or even just curious and searching for God. You’ll definitely find Him here!

Terry Walters I am thrilled to call NLC of Yorkville my home church since 2018. A house of prayer with sound teaching and obedience to the Holy Spirit’s leading. In Matthew 22, Jesus talks about the greatest commandment- Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. This is clearly the fiber of NLC that you will experience despite the diversity in culture and generation. Also, there are many opportunities to serve and make the greatest commandment active in your lives.
If these are what you are looking for in a church home, then look no further!

Wayland Middendorf This church is like a family to me. I have been going to NLC for about 1 1/2 years. Everyone is caring and is willing to listen! This church is about equipping us to know Christ better by Being with Christ, Becoming like Christ and Doing as Christ did. The Pastors here are about bringing the Bible to life in our current world and how it relates to what we encounter in our current times. The staff and volunteers are wonderful! The life groups enable us to build community with a smaller group. The praise team/ media team is fantastic. If you are looking for a religious home where you can find people that really care about you, and you want to know more about Christ our savior, we welcome you to your new home!

Sarah Bish I cannot say enough good things about our church! I had been searching for many years for a church that felt like home...last year after seeing them recommended in a Facebook group I decided to check it out and it was an instant fit♡ Ive never felt judged, have been treated like family and have never felt so uplifted as I do at church. I honestly couldnt ask for more, they give back so much to the community, are welcoming to all and this isnt one of those long emotionless services. The worship band is so amazing that I wish I could buy the music, the pastors are energetic and passionate, the sermons are totally relatable between the bibles teachings and life today. If youre looking for a home church this is one to check out!

Rachel Hershberger My husband and I dreamed of getting married in a little white chapel, and Chapel on the Green was the PERFECT place! So much so that we centered all our planning around it. Howard and everyone we worked with were incredibly kind and helpful. All our questions were answered quickly. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. And the chapel itself is beautiful! The history, the stain glass, the organ, the church bells. Everything was picturesque, and we have received so many compliments from our guests about the chapel. I would highly recommend having your wedding at Chapel on the Green!
