I have recently started eating here and I have never been disappointed with what I ordered. Oh and to top it off the staff is always very friendly. This place is one of my new favorites!

Jean McGhee I usually get curbside. Great service, especially since around lunchtime, they are super busy. Many times, theres no close parking for curbside to find you. I call the shop to say where i am. Would be really nice if they had a dedicated space for curbside, but Subway has a veggie delight. One of the few in the nation with a whole food/ plant based choice.

Susan D Ewing I love this restaurant. The food is great. It’s made fresh every day. You can tell because the salsa that comes with the chips is a little different each time I eat there. The service and staff are so very friendly and efficient. I love going there. I’m welcomed as a friend, not just a customer. This restaurant is the cleanest place I’ve ever eaten. There is no dust or dirt or dropped food on the floor. Even the corners are spotless with no little piles of dirt that are difficult to clean. It’s a wonderful place to get great Mexican food.

Laura Cooper We arrived around 425 it took 10 minutes to get chips and salsa then 17 more minutes to get our food and beans and rice was cold the i peeled the cheese off my sonatas and meat was so salty i couldnt even eat it. We was so disappointed, we had heard such good reviews so we tried it. And never again.

Roy Block We had a great easter lunch and we all had great food. The customer service was friendly and fact. The food was just like a small-town restaurant should be in my opinion. Its an older building which could use a few updates to bring the decor up to date. The place is located on the street so theres parking. Wed go back again for sure.

John Keto Staff was friendly. Got in and out for taco Tuesday pretty quick. Food was great. I asked for their hottest sauce, and was pleasantly surprised. It was very good, nice heat, and very tasty. Never got that anywhere else thanks for the great tacos and best hot sauce Ive ever had from an authentic Mexican restaurant. I will be back.

Phyllis Tucker Connie is wonderful she can almost figure out what I want even before I can. She always has water and a cup of coffee ready right off, and she is always quick to fill up your cup or glass. I am a regular here and enjoy many breakfasts.

Tim Rowe Kerosene pump not working for weeks. Huffmans quit selling kerosene because Circle K was so much more convenient that everybody goes there. Please repair pump. Very inconvenient to go to Monmouth or Muscatine.

Big Money I wasnt expecting delicious food like this when I walked in. The tables were empty there was one guy up front sitting at the bar, a girl on a laptop at a tablein the back and a cook that ran to the back when we walked in.... but within 15 minutes everything changed. We had our drinks and our order in.... at about 30 minutes our food was being delivered and all of it was fantastic. The Mi Casa platter was perfect... my tostada was a little soft... but I mixed it into my beans and rice and ate it on the chips.. delicious. My wife had veggie enchiladas and said that I should try them, they were great!! I will be back to give them more money when Im in town. Thanks for the excellent service and food!!!

Ashlie Dellitt We went for our anniversary dinner - we had our rehearsal dinner here 13 years ago, because we love Joes. They shift to new ownership soon. We are sure it will still be great but we will miss the family that has owned and run this restaurant for 50 years. Food was wonderful of course! Wishing all the best for the Vitale/Lee family and glad the restaurant will stay open under new ownership and not close altogether. We are hoping the mural stays and that they keep the wonderful banquet room that is a huge asset to our small community. Its a special place for sure.
