4 /5 Ryan Roark: I want to start by saying ive been to almost all of the places like this around the area, And Rubys is hands down my favorite, although I still cant decide on whether it be the Urbana or Champaign location. I like them both equally. Ive done very well here and also lost a fair amount here. Its truly just a game of luck and chance. Ive walked out with a couple grand having walked in with 20 bucks and ive walked out down a couple hundred. I will say Ive definitely done better here more regularly than anywhere else ive ever been, even the big name Casinos. Most of the time its not too difficult to get somewhat ahead or stay even if you are gonna play for a bit. The thing i like most is that the staff are always very friendly and most go out of their way to try and get to know you a bit and greet you pretty warmly, especially if you are even somewhat of a regular visitor. They are good about keeping the place/machines clean. They routinely offer to fill your drink for you even though the soda fountain is only like 5 ft away from the slots. They really try to give a welcome feel. The "complimenrary snacking" options I feel are rather limited at this one compared to most of these types of places, but I seldom partake of them so it doesnt bother me. As long as I can sip a soda while im playing im happy and they have plenty of that. They do have beer as well although im not sure what as im not usually a drinking gambler.
