4 /5 Yellow Team: My 2 children take guitar and bass lessons with Jerry and enjoy him very much. I like his emphasis on good technique, not just getting the notes correct. Hes upbeat and positive. My children walk out of their lessons, excited to improve. He meets them at their level and then pushes them to do more. I would recommend Jerry to other students wanting lessons.

5 /5 Chad Hill: Jerry Evans School of Music is great! Our son has been taking drum lessons there with Stephen Utterback for 3 years and his skills have grown continuously the entire time. Stephen is a great, engaging instructor that works on teaching the notes, musicality and fundamentals in a fun learning environment. The semester end concerts where they pair other students on different instruments to perform a song as a band are a blast and another great opportunity for musical growth. Our son started school band last year and it has been really easy for him because of his Jerry Evans experience.

My daughter has learned so much, gained confidence, and her voice continues to get better with her lessons. Highly recommend this school for voice and learning how to play instruments.

5 /5 Jose San Roman: I would recommend Jerry Evans School of Music. As a whole, the staff is very passionate about music and teaching the kids, Im an adult learning the electric bass. There has always been open communication as far as what I wanted versus needed to learn. It has been fun learning to play while playing fun songs. Lastly, the concerts at the end of the sessions have been a wonderful experience for me. You have the chance to perform to family members and the other students. Overall, I had a great experience.

4 /5 Scott Bakula: Jerry is a multi-talented musician. Ive taken electric guitar lessons from him over a year and my 11 year old son has taken drum lessons for over a year as well. He is a very capable musician, and as a music major, knows theory if that is an interest to a person. He is EXCELLENT as a teacher for younger, school age students as he relates exceptionally well to students with a coolness or hip factor about him, but dont let let that fool you parents.... he is quite instructive and a very good teacher for adult students as well. He can adapt lessons to your musical tastes whether that is classical, classic rock, pop, worship, or whatever. I would very much recommend him.
