4 /5 ᗰคгรєlค ᗰ.: 8th street Cafe opened this week so we stopped by to check it out. I seen people talking about it on Facebook so Im sure many people were eager to try it out as well. Its definitely a small cafe but I feel if business goes great the owner could look into expanding. Right when we walked in, I noticed there were about 20 tables and they were all filled. We didnt have to wait too long for a table but did have to wait a while before we ordered, they were busy though so we were understanding. I tried the pulled pork and to be honest, I hate to say it but it was a miss for me. The pork was in huge chunks and a bit cold in some parts. I wanted to love it so I was bummed. My husband got the chicken n waffles and it was hot n ready. I also got the broccoli and cheese soup and I thought that was great it was nice and hot!
I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it was so small and so loud that I had to move over closer to my husband so I could hear him. It is cute though, the decorations make it homey.
We might come back and visit if were in the area, although we do like your EP location much better.
Congrats on the new business and we wish you the best!
