Carson Tap House - Morris (IL)

5 /5 Kerry Klepacz: Morris IL is the halfway point for family to meet up between Des Moines IA & Toledo OH. Coming from Toledo my daughter & I got there an hour earlier so we stopped to eat. The patrons & staff were so friendly & welcoming I felt like I was in an episode of Cheers. The food is good & service is phenomenal. I am happy we happened upon this place today & will return if we ever need to stop & eat when meeting up with family.

5 /5 Mike: I have been here a handful of times. The food has always been great. This time I had a perfectly cooked cheeseburger and seasoned fries. Could only eat half the burger. The bar is fun and has very good service

3 /5 Liveoutdoors85: Nice atmosphere with a friendly staff. Just with they would have been more attentive to us and got drinks a bit quicker. I’m not a fan of underdressed waitresses and bartenders either. Cover up a bit and be classy. Our food was good but the Mac and cheese bites weren’t worth the money. Not enough of them and needed to be seasoned more. Not worth $10. The cheesesteak was overpriced too and the cheese had a weird texture to it. Wasn’t creamery but like chalky or floury texture. Maybe the sandwich sat for a bit before serving? I don’t know. All in all it was descent at best. Maybe a better score if the prices reflected the food quality.
