5 /5 Monte Reed: The name of the restaurant now is called El Taquila. It is fantastic. The guy, I think his name is Samuel, that runs it, really knows what he is doing. I just posted some pictures of the steaks we ordered. 10 Ribeyes. They were awesome!!! Cooked to absolute perfection. If his other food wasnt so good , I would tell him to be a steak restaurant! Sorry Paducah steak places....you just arent keeping up. Head to Metropolis to El Taquila Mexican Restaurant, next door to Sonic and across from Fort Massac State Park. By the way, at the time of this posting, that steak dinner was $12.99!!!! Yeah!
And now its Feb. 2nd, 2022, and we just got another steak. It was STILL cooked to perfection by the same man! I wanted to add this reposting because it was so good. Im not sure, but I think the prices went up a dollar. With the price of beef at the store, its cheaper to let them cook you one!
