1 /5 Jaime Gonzales: We hired Adam (Deep South owner) to cater my son’s wedding on 10/11/2025. Everything was fine up until the day of the wedding. Pre wedding I had a call to go over menu, week before had another call to finalize everything. The day of the wedding was a disaster. Food was 45 mins late. 3 calls were made to the restaurant & to Adam & was told each time “the food was on the way”. The wedding venue was only 15 mins from the restaurant. The majority of the food was cold. The rolls were not fully cooked & the amount of rolls provided were not what was ordered. Missing items from the final list are as follows: entire garden salad & dressings, chafing trays, serving utensils, cups, bowls.
I did call and talk to Adam on 10/14/2024 & he apologized and was sending me a refund.
On 10/24/2025 I messaged Adam asking if check was in the mail as I had not yet received it & he assured me it was. On 11/11/2025 I messaged Adam again as I had not received the refund & he never responded.
I would not recommend Deep South for your catering needs.
