2 /5 Jason Han: The food was top notch and the Beef Wellington was outstanding. The service was great for most of the meal, but unfortunately the experience took a turn at the end.
When we received the check, we noticed the wine was priced much higher than expected. I actually didn’t notice it, but my partner looking over my shoulder did. We ordered the Joel Gott 815, which was listed at $40, but were charged $125, the price of a different Joel Gott bottle on the menu. While the waiter corrected the bill after we pointed it out, it didn’t feel great to catch a mistake like this at the end of the night, especially after a few drinks. The waiter didn’t even seem to be that apologetic after all the back and forth.
Even with great food, billing accuracy and attention to detail are part of a good hospitality, and this situation took away from what could have been a much better experience.
