Gojos Cafe & Pancake House - Waukegan (IL)

1 /5 JAYG: I was absolutely disgusted by what I found in my club house deluxe triple decker.There were dark, crusty substances stuck to the lettuce in my meal, it looked like dirt or something far worse. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen. I expect basic standards to be followed when it comes to preparing and washing produce. I won’t be returning, and I hope this is addressed immediately to prevent anyone else from experiencing this.

5 /5 Amy Lucas: Went there this morning and automatically fell in love with the vibe. Its exactly what a diner should look like. The service was top notch. Their were two young ladies working the entire place and they did not miss a beat. They were like a well oiled machine and so friendly to everyone. The food was tasty, affordable and had good size portions. 10/10 would recommend and will go back.

5 /5 Hesper Miller: This is a lovely cafe. The inside kinda gives retro 80’s vibes. The staff were very friendly and the food was actually amazing. The pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also had a little bit of everything.

5 /5 Tom Kraemer: After passing by this place for many years and seeing the huge crowds decided to try it this morning and it did not disappoint. Shannon was a excellent host waitress food was very good place was exceptionally clean and everything was huge portions can’t wait to go back
