5 /5 Matthew Fulcher: 5 Stars – A Heavenly Meal! If you’re anywhere near Lawrenceville, do yourself a favor and stop at Midpoint Cafe. I came in expecting a good meal, but what I got was nothing short of divine intervention—specifically in the form of their pork chops. Perfectly seasoned, tender beyond belief, and grilled to absolute perfection, they were a miracle on a plate. I’m convinced the cook has a direct line to the heavens. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the prices were more than fair for the quality you get. You can taste the love and pride in every bite. Midpoint Cafe has officially become my go-to spot when I’m in town. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out.

2 /5 Whitney Owings: We ate here for lunch today and we will not go back. I had the Farmer’s Skillet which should have been sausage, peppers and onions over hashbrowns with gravy and eggs. However, the sausage was cubed meat, there were only a tiny bit of hashbrowns, and the dish was filled almost completely with peppers and onions that were barely cooked and still very crunchy. I picked though and ate some of the eggs and hashbrowns but it was almost entirely inedible. I told the waitress and she apologized and said she would “tell the boys to cook better” and asked if I wanted something else, which I declined because I did not have time to wait. They took off the cost of my iced tea from our ticket and that was all. Also, while we were waiting for our food I heard this same waitress tell a man who was paying that they took his meal off completely because the cooks had messed it up so much. I have never written a bad review before but was just very, very frustrated with the food and the service. (The pictures are the size of the dish for comparison and then of all the uncooked peppers and onions I took out just to find something edible.)

1 /5 G D: Be mindful when visiting on a public holiday — the surcharge notice was not clearly displayed and very easy to miss (tiny fine print at the bottom of the menu). We also ordered one extra egg and were served three, then charged for all three. When we raised it later, we were told it was our fault for not questioning it at the table — not great, especially for first-time customers.

5 /5 Astrid Hipsher: Always a lovely experience going to eat here! Food has always been great and the same goes for the service. The owner is very sweet along with the rest of the staff. A welcoming local place that makes you feel like family. A place to recommend to anyone who has never been there!
