Off the Square - Lawrenceville (IL)

5 /5 Andrea C: We really enjoyed Cody Bobe’s restaurant right off the square in historic Lawrenceville! Right away we noticed the eclectic decor was warm and inviting complete with natural bricked walls and wood trim. There are lots of options on the menu and the smash burger with fried mushrooms was delicious as was the grilled cheese and fries. The fried pickles were great! The staff was friendly, responsive and I was introduced to the owner who took the time to speak with me. I highly recommend Off the Square!

5 /5 Davis Emily: Got the spicy cheese curds, Heat Wave burger, Classic burger, and triple chocolate mousse cake. Everything was delicious and good quality! Loved the atmosphere and the service was perfect. One of the best places Ive been to around here so far.

5 /5 Sarah Powers: Cutest little restaurant! Food was great! We got the Kevin Bacon sandwich 10/10! The maniac fries, fish bites, & mushrooms were all great! Highly recommend if you’re in the area. We popped in after a football game!

5 /5 Julia Mitchel: What a great place to eat! I had the tenderloin and it was huge! Most importantly it was delicious! The owner, Cody Bobe, also told me he uses oil that is the healthiest to fry with! Which is an added bonus! I wish I had taken a photo before I ate 2/3 of this sandwich but I still took a picture to show thickness. I highly recommend and will be back when I can!
