1 /5 Robert Lamont: BEWARE — this place is an absolute scam.
I went in expecting a normal meal and instead walked out feeling robbed. My bill was $28.69, plain and simple. But when the charge hit, they ran my card for $47.36. When I pointed it out, the bartender acted clueless and never reversed the first charge. So in total, I got stuck paying $76.05 for food that wasn’t even good.
The food was subpar, the service was careless at best, shady at worst, and the way they handled (or ignored) the double charge was unbelievable. If a business can’t be trusted with something as basic as charging customers correctly, that’s a huge red flag.
There are plenty of honest places to eat — Oliver’s isn’t one of them. Avoid this place at all costs.
