1 /5 Annette M. Wegrzyn: Im sorry, but the food here was awful. Came here from over an hour away to meet with my in-laws for lunch for my birthday. I got the mahi-mahi tacos, which were incredibly dry. You know how when youre hungry youll eat anything? Yeah that was the case here. I asked for a side of the sauce to try to remedy that and the server forgot and my husband had to go chase her down. No biggie, I get things happen but that was just the beginning. Even the rice pilaf had a strange funky taste, I dont know if its a cleanliness issue and theyre cooking everything in the same pot or something? My husband asked for his Burger medium rare, it arrived well done. Now granted we hadnt eaten anything all day as well as my husband being a bigger guy, he took two bites but they said because it was half eaten they would refund 50%. To be fair the server didnt really come by a whole lot so great the burger went from $18 to $9 - still overpriced esp considering it was obviously not made in house but frozen! Even my Arnold Palmer was funky tasting. Like it had a weird artificial lemon, lime flavor. The only thing I can think of is if they have a beverage dispenser and they dispensed Sprite right before that...maybe? Both my husband and I were servers years ago and know that shouldnt be an issue though if theyre routinely cleaning the beverage dispenser and soaking the nozzles overnight. Especially since it was a pretty tall glass that shouldnt have made that much of a difference. Between my husband and me the only thing good was the tater tots which I assume more also frozen. I will say the ambiance was neat, but not enough to justify the terrible overpriced food. I suspect the main issue is cleanliness and such an extensive menu but not really specializing in anything. Its 2025 and there are better options out there. We wont be back.
