5 /5 Daniel F: The Poor House is an awesome spot to catch Sunday football. They opened early for the Bears London game, and it was packed with fans. Surprisingly, they even switched to the Packers game upon my request! The half-off apps during Bears games and $1 Miller Light drafts were great deals. With $2 mimosas and $5 bloodies, it’s the perfect game day bar!

4 /5 Linda H.: We were actually on our way to a neighboring restaurant/bar for a burger when PourHouses sign for $2 tacos and $4 margaritas, plus the smell of those tacos, drew us in. We were immediately greeted by the bartender/waitress (Michelle) who said we could sit anywhere. The place was mostly empty except for a few patrons who sat at the bar. My daughter and I chose a window seat. Michelle was prompt to our table and quickly gave us all our taco options. My daughter chose 1 chicken and 1 ground beef taco on flour tortillas. I chose 1 chicken and 1 steak taco on soft corn tortillas with cilantro and onion and their tomatillo avocado salsa. Wow! Hands down that this place now wins my vote for best Mexican food in town. Who wouldve thought?! The chicken tacos were the winner, and I am not ashamed to say that I ordered 2 more of those chicken tacos! Oh and we each got a margarita. I went with classic and my daughter got a cherry lime. My first time here but I will definitely be back! Michelle is awesome and I am convinced she is the main reason people return. Why 4 stars instead of 5 you may wonder...there were some delays in getting those 2nd set of tacos and then in getting the check. There is a charge for the salsa.

5 /5 Theodore Golota: Was in town to pick up a trailer. Kids got hungry and we chose this place because it wasn’t packed. The steak tacos, quesadilla, and fries were delicious. Low key place with some tasty food.

3 /5 Shelly W: Can’t say anything about the Bar area or Food service, but we had a Paint & Sip upstairs on the top floor. The class was amazing and so fun! But unfortunately Pour House said they forgot to turn on the heat. So instead of enjoying with our coats off everyone had to keep their winter gear on the full 2 hours which was a bummer. Room was full with about 30 ish people. The company that lead this class was great though and kept apologizing for Pour House not having the room ready for our gathering. But definitely would go to the Paint class again!

1 /5 Genevieve Dangelo: We went to this restaurant and right away noticed how dark it was inside. The menu was pricey, so we expected the food to be good. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Our table’s food came out quickly, but that made sense because it looked and tasted like frozen food that had just been microwaved. Our waitress barely checked on us the whole time, and it wasn’t even busy—there were only two other people sitting at the bar. On top of that, we couldn’t enjoy our meal or conversation because gnats were constantly flying around us. When we went to the bathroom, one toilet was completely clogged, and the other was surrounded by bugs and gnats. Overall, the experience was really disappointing given the prices and the poor conditions.
