5 /5 Theresa Orvis: Came home for a visit and Rivers Edge is open. I could not believe what they had done with the old Mrs.T’s. The decor is amazing and they even pay tribute with an old Mrs. T’s jacket on display. Jacquie was our waitress and she was helpful in making sure our dining experience was memorable. The food was delicious and plentiful. Change is hard in small towns but I sure did enjoy it and I am glad the owners took the chance here.

2 /5 Darci Najdanovich: The restaurant inside and out is BEAUTIFUL. I know it’s newer so it’s going to take a while for things to run smoothly and our server was very nice but the service overall wasn’t good. I’ve never had someone mess up a pot roast until tonight. Prices are way too high for the poor quality of food you receive. We wanted to love this place but will not be returning.

5 /5 don norman: We went here for an anniversary dinner. We ate outside on their patio. The whole experience was great, from our server to the delicious food. Would highly recommend this place, will definitely go back when we are in the area.

5 /5 Carina Johannessen: Restaurant upstairs and Pub downstairs. Both spaces are equally cool but in different ways. The staff is exceptional very friendly and Beckie was incredible. As an Italiana girlie I have very high standards and expectations and came in unsure how good it was going to be. Well I will definitely be coming back. The pasta special that they had tonight was very garlic forward and super yummy. Keeping those vampires at bay tonight which is a great thing. The Brussel sprout side is one of the best that I have had. Their gnocchi was very pillowy and tender. Got the meatball and burrata the only thing I could see making it a little better is more bread to eat all the sauce with. Can’t wait to come back.

5 /5 Kevin Foster: Were back. Nothing has changed. We tried some different dishes and were especially pleased. Weve been to hundreds of restaurants in Illinois and this is truly a hidden gem. This is the best restaurant in the Midwest. The food was incredibly delicious. The crabby bites appetizer was great. Im not sure what the sauce was but Id like a jar to go, please. My chicken Parm was the best Ive ever had around here and the angel hair pasta was a nice upgrade from usual spaghetti. The drinks were awesome, mixed perfectly. Last but not least by a long way was the bread pudding with ice cream. WOW! What a treat. Im looking forward to my next visit.
