5 /5 Hetav Kinkhabwala: The food here was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and well worth the visit. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. While the service was a bit on the slower side, the overall experience was still very enjoyable thanks to the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere. I’d definitely come back, just with a little extra time.

4 /5 Rekha Andey: This restaurant was cozy welcoming with very nice interiors .we ordered Thai pineapple tofu fried rice and basil tofu fried rice the food tastes good they made it to the spice level we asked bit the quantity of was too small portions for the price we felt.

5 /5 Michael Curley: A gem of a Thai restaurant in Wheaton, conveniently located near downtown, train station and bike path. Well-furnished, white tablecloth, cloth napkins, indoor plants, and Asian- themed decorations. Not stuffy or unwelcoming. Bossa nova music and perfect customer service. Excellent, authentic soup, dumplings and curry. Fresh ingredients. VERY reasonable price. I wish we had come sooner. Highly recommend.

2 /5 Hailey J: The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm, cozy, and very welcoming. I especially liked how the sunlight filled the space, which made it feel comfortable. As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me kindly, which gave me a good first impression. However, the food was disappointing. I ordered Pad Thai, which I usually enjoy, but the flavor was much more sour than what I expected. I thought maybe it was just a more authentic style, so I kept eating, but soon after, I started having severe stomach pain. It was such an intense pain that it felt like my stomach was being twisted, and it lasted even after I left the restaurant. I usually have a strong stomach and rarely get sick from food, so I was shocked. I hadn’t eaten anything else that day, so I’m certain it came from the Pad Thai. Because of this, I unfortunately have to give a low rating on the food. It was painful enough that I couldn’t go about my day normally afterward. Still, I want to mention that the Thai ice tea was very delicious, and I did enjoy the atmosphere and service.

1 /5 Alma Rodriguez: We came to Simply Thai Bistro, expecting a quick, no-cook family outing. Instead, it turned into an overly extended and frustrating experience—and we were only a party of three. This place should honestly be called “Simply No.” If you’re not a regular, be prepared to wait well over an hour. While the appetizers were decent, the main dishes were a disappointment—unpleasantly salty, poorly balanced, and far from enjoyable. Nothing felt special, authentic, or thoughtfully prepared. The service made matters worse. Not once did our server check in to ask how we were doing, whether the food was okay, or if we needed anything—especially unacceptable given the excessive wait. Overall, the experience did not justify the time or cost. If I could give this place a zero, I would. Disappointing experience...
