3 /5 Carleigh Marinah: The service was great, but the food and menu options were definitely lacking. I don’t mind the simplicity of just burgers and fries, but the fact that you can’t get any toppings on your burger, surprised me. They offered packets of “pickles” (it’s just sweet relish like what you put on a hotdog), and packets of chopped onions, mayonnaise, and ketchup. But no fresh toppings. The only menu options are Smashburgers- single, double, or triple with or without cheese, drinks and fries. The fries were four dollars, and the size was probably comparable to a McDonald’s small or medium. They definitely tasted better than McDonald’s fries, they were great, however they were over salted for my liking, and I could not finish them. The smash patties themselves were delicious. The buns looked and tasted cheap- reminded me of clover valley or great value hamburger buns. I think if they started offering fresh toppings on the burgers, and got better quality buns, I would definitely be back, but for the price, I expected slightly better quality ingredients and options. Overall the food was just ok. The service was great though.
