1 /5 Rich McGee: My how the mighty have fallen. We moved from DeKalb roughly six years ago. When we lived there, we frequented Tapa. The service wasn’t always the best, but the food held up. Last night we were in town for a party and we stopped by for tapas and a couple of cocktails. We were told our cocktail order was delayed because the bar staff needed to wash the martini glasses. Really? All of the food was awful - truly bad. Had I made anything like it at home it would have never made it to the table. Greasy, flavorless, weird. Plus, the order was wrong, the service was slow (that is an understatement), and the place seemed to be operated by young people lacking experience which is not the vibe the menu and prices dictate. Very disappointing (also an understatement).
