Texas Roadhouse - Quincy (IL)

3 /5 Lori Ganey: When the main course comes out before the appetizer....or the salad... apparently the kitchen was really really fast ...and accurate. The wait staff not so much. We got seated, ordered our drinks and an appetizer drinks came to the table ordered main course...a few short minutes later (as in less then 10) main course arrives at the table...before the salad or the appetizer. The waitress comes by and said (oh ..oops, let me go get your onion" before I had a chance to stop her and ask for the salad she streaks off. Before the onion shows up my salad gets brought out by another runner...and the finally....the app made it to the table. I do want to mention...they were hit with a rush of guests around the time we came in. Outside of the absolutely backwards service the food was well cooked, tasted great and was otherwise to our satisfaction.

5 /5 Marianne: I had not been to a Texas roadhouse in years! We wanted a meal after a movie and this location was our pick. The server was excellent, food fresh, and order correct. Restaurant floor was a bit dirty and bathroom floor was worse. But that was the only issues we noticed.

3 /5 Anthony Goranson: This was unfortunately my worst experience at Texas Roadhouse. I come here about once a week because its the only place in Quincy where I can get a reliably good steak. Every other visit has been great, the bone-in ribeye is usually cooked perfectly, the sides are solid, and the salads are always fresh. This time was different. I ordered my usual bone-in ribeye cooked medium. While it looked medium, the steak was dry, tasted old, and the overall quality just seemed off compared to what I’m used to. My girlfriend ordered a sirloin medium, but it came out well-done. The manager came over and showed me that my steak was technically medium, and rather than turn it into a whole issue, I just decided to eat it. I ate about a quarter of the steak and it just didnt taste right I didnt finish my steak. My girlfriend’s steak was sent back, and the replacement came out about five minutes later—this time rare. We cut into it in front of the manager. She apologized and took it back again to re-fire it. Another five minutes later, steak came back and was still rare, although at least edible. Then, while cutting into the rest of her meal, she found a hair in the steak. We packed up her meal and threw it away when we left the restaurant.

4 /5 Ryan Eugene: Stopped into Texas Roadhouse in Quincy and ordered the chili and a bone-in ribeye. The chili was thick, warm, and packed with flavor—great starter. The bone-in ribeye was the star: tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Service was quick and welcoming even with the place busy. We’ll be back. Just keep in mind it is a chain, so you wont be blown away, but the quality will be consistent.
