5 /5 Arrowsmith Parker: I grew up in Quincy but I live in Chicago now. Every time I come visit my family, we come straight here from the train station. This is my childhood and their childhood. Its a Quincy tradition that I hope will never end. I love coming here because I know the food will be incredible every time and they have amazing deals.

5 /5 michele briggs: The food is always fantastic. Good portions for the cost. Our last waitress was attentive & her service was excellent. The atmosphere is a little lackluster. The fish tank makes me sad. The tank is small & theyve chosen fish that need a much larger tank & better filtration. As we walked out, I noticed the large pleco was dead.

2 /5 D Kistner: Ive had many good BREAKFASTS at this place over the years. That being said, this review is about a recent experience, which was not good. I was coming into Quincy and ordered two meals for carry out. I ordered two identical dinners: lemon pepper grilled catfish fillet with mashed potatoes ( I ordered with no gravy to keep it healthy) and carrots. The menu online -- the one I was ordering from -- said each dinner was $11.20. Two at $11.20 each plus tax meant my order would be around $25.00 The girl who took my order over the phone and who waited on me once I arrived was polite, kind, helpful, etc. Thus the 5 stars for service. However.....My bill was a little more than $35, not $25. The potatoes were very, very bland. The carrots, although tasty, came in a small container usually used for dipping sauce, so extremely small portions!! The fish - only one little fillet - looked and tasted like it had just been thawed in a microwave: no lemon pepper tasted, no evidence whatsoever that it had been grilled, and like the potatoes, very, very bland. No dinner roll ( none was advertised or promised). For over $35!!!! Was hardly enough to satisfy and left me feeling like I would never return to the Quincy Coach House . I also felt I had been cheated --- paying $35 for two $11.20. Softy me did tip the girl because she did her part well. I feel like I should get a reimbursement or a $35 credit, although I didnt complain as I was heading to Tennessee later that day and didnt have time to mess with it.

4 /5 Maureen VanBrooker: We wanted a sit down, grandmas cooking dinner & comfort food setting and that is exactly what we got. My husband got the Tenderloin Sandwich w/ Steak Fries which was devoured quickly! I got the 5 oz steak, medium (It was alittle dried out) w/ Shrimp & Clams, Baked Potato and Salad Bar, which I never got to. So many choices on the menu to choose from wow! I ended up taking the Seafood to our hotel for a snack later, which was delicious! Our servers and waitresses were very friendly. Excellent Customer Service. The best sweet tea in all of Quincy! The only reason I gave a 4 ☆ is because the restrooms could use some updating. Broken Toilet Paper Holders, the TP roll was on the floor, next to a dirty trashcan, kinda makes it hard for the elderly & disabled customers that use the facilities. Walls need a good wipe down. Other than that. The food was great and it is a very quiet comfortable setting. Reasonably priced. Good Job!

1 /5 Meg Talley: I used to go here all the time when I was younger and it was my favorite. However, returning after several years I was left extremely disappointed. The food was depressing, unseasoned, and overcooked. I had gotten a horseshoe and the cheese sauce covering it was absolutely horrid. I dont know what it was, but it wasnt cheese. The chicken was chewy and room temperature. I sent back the horseshoe and got a plain cheeseburger instead. I also believe we were overcharged. The server "itemized" our ticket, but she just wrote all the numbers down without explaining which cost was which. There were a few charges that I had no clue what they were for. And my plain cheeseburger was charged as a horseshoe (horseshoe being more expensive.) Definitely dont recommend. For a table of 5 you could go to Texas Roadhouse and only spend $10 more.
