1 /5 S: Verdict: Overcomplicated menu, misleading advertising, slow service, and a terrible drink. I won’t be returning.
I had high hopes walking into Wicked Nutrition, but the experience went downhill fast.
First, the ordering process is a nightmare. There’s no large, clear menu above the counter—just an 8-page laminated booklet crammed with 12-point-font text. The sheer number of options is overwhelming, with no logical grouping or organization. Just trying to figure out what to order took about 10 minutes.
To make matters worse, their storefront advertises boba in the window images, yet they don’t actually have boba. Instead, they offer “flavor pearls,” which are oddly assorted fruit flavors. Not at all what I was expecting.
After finally placing an order for two drinks, it took another 15 minutes to receive them. My drink, which was advertised as tea, was shockingly bad. If there was any tea in it, I couldn’t taste it over the overpowering artificial flavor. It was like drinking undiluted Mio water flavoring straight from the bottle. It was so strong it caused a visceral reaction. I even commented aloud in the shop that the drink tasted horrible, yet the staff member behind the counter offered no apology, replacement, or refund.
When I got home, I had to dilute the drink with five parts water to make it even remotely palatable. For $10, it was absolutely not worth the hassle of ordering, the long wait, or the unpleasant taste.
