Nate Hubbard Went to Yemm Buick coming in from Davenport looking to get a valuation on my trade on a jeep cherokee after talking with Jessica over the phone. I had an eye on a Buick Envista if all went well as they had a better price than others I’ve looked at. After they looked at the jeep and got to test drive an Envista they came back with the offer and some finance terms. I wasn’t quite ready to commit on the initial terms and offer. Tyrell then came back with John and a new offer on my jeep and new terms that fit better and that I was a lot more comfortable with and drove away pleased and happy with the purchase of my new 2025 Buick Envista Avenir. Big thanks to John Voss the salesman, Tyrell and Kevin for working with me and getting me to a point I was comfortable with it and to top it off all in a very timely manner!

Dulcinea Tolliver Most of my experience was great but there was a few issues. Due to dealing with several people, I had to return 3 days in a row to speak to correct person to handle the issues. The detailing took much longer than expected and my family was with me waiting the whole time. It would have been much better for us to leave and just get a phone call when vehicle was ready. Bruce was very personable and attentive to my car needs. Overall it was great experience but a few things could have been better.

amanda2324 They keep me updated on the status of my car, especially while Im waiting at the location. They give plenty of illustrations to show whats going on with my car and the summary sheets of the multi-point inspection are easy to understand. I appreciate the use of colors to emphasize priority and need for attention. For example, the green for three of my tires to indicate theyre good to go, and yellow for the other tire to indicate it likely needs replaced in the coming months or so. The staff are pleasant and I neither felt rushed or ignored when we had to complete tasks (reviewing documents) or make payments.

Jazmin Ross Don’t Recommend. If you want reliable, and service that don’t leave you waiting forever(aka tire change) then don’t come here! Don’t get me wrong they do their job pretty decent for the most part.

Sage L. Ive been here twice and both times Ive had amazing service, honest work and prices, I was never condescended to, and they were willing to work with my schedule. My dad runs his own auto shop a few hours down-state, and I had to call him and tell him how well I was treated here because I knew hed be excited to hear there was a shop local to me that was doing things right. Thank you!

Ginger Kennell If you are in northern IL and need help these are the folks to call! They rescued my child’s car literally in the middle of nowhere while he was on a road trip, and made sure he was safe. I live in Oklahoma, but I will say great things about these kind people forever! Thank you Mike and the Bolens crew!

Eric Garb My truck broke down while traveling. Mike checked out my truck and said I lost an injector. Gave me warning of maybe being able to save the injector and replace what actually broke, or replacement cost. It took till the next day to gets parts needed. Mike had me on the road by noon the next day. He said the injector looked to be original and he replaced it instead of trying to save it. The absolute right choice. Im glad I chose to go there. Rates are excellent too. Thank you guys.

michael seamster I had a very good experience at Pomps. I stopped in and asked if the shop did brakes.They made an appointment for me and I got a call within the hour with a quote. Good service and the price he quoted was actually higher than my finished bill. Will go back for sure. Thanks for the service!

It looks newer than the way it was before the accident! I am so pleased with the work and attention to detail here. Even the inside of my car is spot free of any dust or debris! They would send me photos and updates on the progress of my car, and kept in touch with me about details regarding the paint and repair process. Thank you so much for the great job you and your team have done! If I ever need such services again I know exactly where I will go!

George They were recommended by a friend and now I know why, the shop is owned by a mechanic who has been in business for many decades and he didnt rip me off. He had me stand under the car and showed me exactly what was wrong and gave his recommendations and what it would cost to fix it. When he was done, the price was a little less than he estimated. He is honest. Thats why Im going back next time I need service.

Mitch Elliott Dont waste your time with these shysters. Had a bad metal to metal clunking sound coming from my suspension every time I hit a bump, took it to them and they called me and said that my brakes were bad and they couldnt find a suspension problem. Got my car home and notice my brakes were barely working and there was bad scraping sound every time I hit my brakes. Took my tire off and noticed that my brake pad was put on backwards and the rotor had huge gouges in it. There way of making a buck I guess. Had to go put new brakes and rotors on the front. They completely denied everything. Its hard telling how long theyve been doing this to people. Took my vehicle to Big Es. They found 2 bad back shocks. People..I cannot stress enough do not take your vehicles to these cons..

Michael Wynkoop He said he was going to buy my van for parts, then just kept it and did not pay me what he said. Can’t be trusted. Couldn’t fix the problem and kept giving me worse and worse scenarios, putting me off. Eventually he blocked my texts and phone calls. Beware. Not honest. This has been a nightmare. He has my money, but hasn’t given me a repaired vehicle or the money he promised to pay me back in exchange for the title to my van.
