If you want a pleasant root canal experience, choose Dr. Ceresa! I did not experience any pain at all during the procedure and Dr. Ceresa explains in nice detail what takes place. My fear of ever needing another root canal is gone!

5 /5 Jeff Kuenneth: If you need a root canal you need to see Dr. Ceresa! I traveled from Bloomington to Peru because there were no in-network Endodontists in Bloomington. I could not be any more pleased with the care I received. Dr. Ceresa is excellent at explaining things and extremely good at what he does. Some people talk about how painful and uncomfortable it is to have a root canal, but my experience with Dr. Ceresa was that it really wasnt much worse than a cavity or a crown. His office staff and assistants were very friendly, nice, caring and easy to work with. There were no issue with billing and the cost/fees were explained very well up front and were very reasonable considering the time and effort that goes into completing a successful root canal. As I previously stated, I could not be more pleased with the care I received and would not hesitate to return to Dr. Ceresa should the need arise.

When I was told I needed a root canal and was given 2 options of endodontist in the area, I didnt hesitate to go to Dr. Ceresa as he had previously performed a root canal on me 10 years ago. He had left such a good impression on me and gave me a positive memory. He explained the procedure and put me at ease from start to finish. All of the staff went above and beyond to put me at ease. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Merlyn Updike: I have some past trauma with going to the dentist and very bad anxiety. So being told I needed a root canal was terrifying. However this procedure was one of the easiest I ha r ever experienced. Everyone was absolutely amazing. They will talk you through things and make sure you understand whats going on. During the procedure they would periodically check in on me and do whatever they could to make me comfortable. The numbing was done so well I didnt even feel anything at all! If you ever need a root canal this is the place to go. Everyone is extremely kind and is great at their jobs!

5 /5 Cory Tretsky: As a child I had a nightmare root canal that was extremely painful and was terrified when I found I needed to get two more now as an adult. Dr. Ceresa and his team were all kind, skilled, and professional. He made absolutely sure I was fully numb before going to work and constantly checked on me throughout both procedures. I also have a bad gag reflex which can be annoying to some providers, but the team here rolled with it and gave me space to reset when needed. Have already recommended his office to several providers that I work with if they need to have endodontic work done as I was able to go right back to work with no pain immediately following both root canals.

Dr Katy made the extraction painless. She even followed up with a phone call to make sure I wasn’t in pain the next day. I’m now waiting for my new implant to come in. Dr Katy Correa has been wonderful as well as the staff. I’ve been a patient for several years and have never had a bad experience. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a smiling staff member. All services are explained with costs up front. The hygienists are all great! Not many people enjoy going to the dentist. Grand Dental makes it less stressful.

kimi d: Was referred to this office because my usual dentist was closed for the weekend. Went in looking for an extraction of a recurrent problem tooth. Absolutely all they wanted to do was insist on $7000 dentures that they would "conveniently" finance (but not reveal interest rate, of course). Refused to do any care/procedure unless I went all in for the $7000 package. This is not an independent dental office, but a corporate monolith that sees people desperately in pain as nothing but a profit center. The only thing they will extract is your wallet. Avoid ALL locations of Alpha Dental!!!

Christine Carberry: I would stay far away from Utica Smiles in Utica il. They abandoned their patients for months on end because the ortho "had an emergency" and provided NO other doctor to follow care. They called to cancel his appt prior to this, and then disappeared. They could not provide ANY information as to when a doctor would be back, did NOT return ANY phone calls, and basically ignored any requests for more information. For over SIX MONTHS. When I FINALLY got a text over six months later, the "manager" was telling me that she has three other offices plus her own- dont cry to me about doing your job. We scheduled an appt for today, at 1pm. I left work early for this appointment, he was pulled from school for this appointment. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes past his appointment time. This is a common occurrence here. After an hour went by I asked if it would be much longer as he has a Dr appt that was scheduled based on his 1 o clock appt. They said a few minutes. I asked if for our next appt can they please make sure hes seen at his appt time so we can avoid this in the future and she tells me "its not a guaranteed time" thats literally what am appointment is and its YOUR JOB to inform someone if youre running behind. I asked to please have his records printed once he was finished. He finally goes back and when he comes out some tech comes and hands me a folder with three pieces of paper in it, and tells me those are his records. For TWO YEARS(minus the 6 mo the They abandoned their patients) three sheets of paper? I walk out to my car and see this letter. Are you kidding me?? THIS is the letter you give me after abandoning patients and cancelling appts last second numerous times? For ignoring patients phone calls and appts when they leave voicemails asking for call backs or appt confirmations and never receiving them? Damm right hus orthodontic needs would be better met elsewhere. "Orthodontic conditions tend to worse with time if they are not addressed" yet you abandoned patients for over 6 months? Ive already filed a complaint with the insurance company. Im filing a complaint with the BBB and also contacting the illinois board of dentistry. Based on what another ortho says I may be speaking to a lawyer as well. When I went back in to address this insane letter they gave me, she said well you can just hand me back the letter then, stating they didnt abandon their patients. But when I filed the complaint with insurance they definitely said thats abandonment, especially when it causes a major delay in treatment. What a horrible practice

Came for a tooth extraction, left pain free and 10x happier!! Dr. Lavieri was very reassuring and explained what he was doing during the whole procedure. His assistant was such a doll and really made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Overall I had a great experience!!
