    N Duncan: Typically, on a warm sunny summer afternoon, this park, sitting on the banks of the Fox River, is a lovely spot for various recreational activities… however, this park has among the worst flooding out of any park along the Fox River, especially if torrential rainstorms have been frequently occurring over a period of many weeks. That happened to be the case during my most recent visit, where half of Island park was underwater… literally! I was surprised that this place was still open to the public, and it was rather crowded that day.

    Be the Change: I went here to be more in touch with nature. Bottom line, nature equals happiness and this place is pure joy. There were a good amount of people there who had the same mentality. Ironically, there was an Airedale terrier meet with 30 dogs there for double the joy. Go check this place out!!!

    William Bosch: Amazingly wonderful place. Between May and September you get to join the butterflies! Each year a variety of species. Much to see and many of them may land on you! Great family fun! Kids and the kid in you will have fun. It is a small space and they take in limited amounts of people so at times you may have to wait a bit, but not too long. It’s a suggested $3/$9per family, well worth the donation. The park around it is also nice.

    Brian Mars: Disc Golf Course located in Wheeler Park is one of the best around. Its 18 holes and has a nice variety of differently shaped holes. Most of it is out in the open, for longer ranged holes. But theres a portion thats in the woods for some more tight quarter tosses. Its a local favorite and its very close. Check it out if you havent been.

    Jerry George: Beautiful low crowded place that has history and natural beauty. A Japanese garden with beautiful surroundings, a free flowing river , historic Fabyan windmill and lush green nature are a treat. Seems like pet friendly and for kids they have good space to play around. Overall a feel good place and calming vibes.
