5 /5 Helen Adams: We visited for the NABCX and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The facilities have improved greatly and visiting outside the fair means parking up close and enjoying the festivities with a smaller crowd! Highly recommend checking out any of the non-fair events for a more laid back and enjoyable time.

Lots of see and if you are in the market for a horse trailer that was the place to be this weekend...Midway Trailers had some great deals and the youth did an excellent job with their riding demo. Thanks to all that make this event possible

3 /5 Sarah Shaffer: Springfield State Fair offered free day for Veterans & family on Sunday. It was the usual food vendors but fewer and some noticeably special food vendors not present such as the BBQ parfaits and woodwork artists. 99.9% visitors & vendors wore no mask even though indoors activity was required to done masks, thus high risk for super spreader. My family and I are medical professions and scientific believers therefore masks in place until eating & drinking. The government tents were present as usual. Be safe and not sorry while enjoying your fried snickers, gator bites & shrimp on the stick. Remember we only have 2 large hospitals in Springfield with limited bed space.
