First United Methodist Church - vandalia - Vandalia Joshua Alan Lutz: Today I attended a celebration of life service for James Staff. It was well attended and very encouraging. Pastor Tom Goodell spoke thoughtfully with timely and comforting words. The music was beautiful, and overall, the congregation was very hospitable.
A Church is first and foremost made up of people, but it doesnt hurt to worship in a beautiful building. The facility is quite impressive, with many large stained glass windows and sturdy woodwork throughout the Church.
Im very grateful for this family of faith, and I wish them well in the future. Worth checking out if youre in Vandalia looking for a Church to visit!
