1 /5 Kris Cathcart: Jayce was my stylist and she butchered my hair. She didn’t know how to use clippers nor did she understand that my hair is a short pixie that needs to be clippered and cut, as well as texturized. This cut was something she couldn’t do, why not say so.? Better than scalping me. She attempted to scissor cut my short hair leaving it very choppy and uneven all over. One side was a lot longer than the other. It was the absolute worst haircut i have ever received and i have had a few of them in my lifetime but none so bad that my husband had to give me a buzz cut. I seriously question whether she has license. I guess i should have walked out when she told me she didn’t use clippers. She had already taken two chunks out and she said, do you want me to stop? What should i have done? I would still have had chunks cut out of my hair. She cut my hair completely dry…which was another red flag. This young lady shouldn’t be taking customers…plain and simple.
Even if she had stopped cutting when i questioned why she wasn’t using clippers, my hair would have been unsalvageable. She literally cut chunks out and it was so uneven. It was better just to bite the bullet and buzz it…at least it’s even now, but i have to wear it like this until it’s long enough to style. Thats the bad thing about short hair, if someone really messes up, you are stuck until it grows out long enough to even it out
