5 /5 Amanda Pearce: I was surprised to read about others experiences there. I went to a salon in my hometown, and they royally messed up my hair. Ends were fried to a crisp, never finished the cut, and the salon did nothing to try to fix the situation. I went to Great Clips to get the ends cut off and shaping. She was fast, friendly and worked with me on how much to take off. I think in the end we took off around 3.5 inches. Its much better now! Thanks for being there when I needed you!

2 /5 Jolene Williams: I came here once before, about a year or so ago. Didnt come back cause my kids said the clippers pulled their hair. However, I figured it had been a while, so Id give the place another go. So I took my kids in for haircuts. I requested a 3 on top, 2 on the side fade down. One girl got it right. My younger boy was very happy. The other girl just ran a 2 all over my older boys head. He was devastated and crying. I didnt cause a scene because my child needed me, and doing that would not have helped him even if it would have made me feel better. However, they lost my business forever. I would give zero 1 star, but Ill give 2 stars because at least the one girl listened.

5 /5 Doug Meade: Haircut was spot on! Service was outstanding! The stylist did an amazing job!! I was in and out in less than 20 minutes! My stylist was quick, accurate and very attractive to boot!!

1 /5 Stephen Martin: Just walked in the door 25 minutes before they close and was told that they were not accepting any more walk ins. It’s a shame what has become acceptable for customer service. Wont be back.

1 /5 Zabrina Ganzer: Me and my husband came into mtvernon il great clips yesterday I asked for my usual pixie cut I have been getting for years what is wrong with great clips they do more talking with each other than the customer not paying attention to cutting I told stylist I wanted my back rounded like I always get with my cut when she was done it was one length and not rounded she told me the shorter she cut it the harder it was to round I’ve never been told that always get it rounded so i payed for cut left a 5 dollar tip I live over an hour away in ofallon il when I wash hair this morning my husband took a pic of back of hair looked horrible about an inch longer in back in spots not rounded one of my side burns was longer than other one and crown of my hair is not laying right my husband had to cut back of my hair to fix her mistake
