5 /5 Av R: McKenna is a super kind, spunky, knowledgeable stylist. She listens and works with me to pin down what I want to make happen and is always down for some fun experimentation!
She only sells me products when I’ve asked for a recommendation or otherwise very obviously didn’t know what I was doing and needed guidance. I appreciate this so much because many other places simply shill out whatever they have a contract with as much as possible. But McKenna 1) wants my hair to look it’s best as her #1 priority and 2) understands having tighter finances and therefore not being able to buy super expensive products that only last two weeks.
She’s also in general just very friendly, nonjudgmental, safe to talk to on a plethora of topics, and fun!
(Also, she’s willing to wear a mask on request which is maybe not as important to a lot of people now a days but I was on a short term immunosuppressant last I saw her so having her ask my preference and then follow through when I answered was so comforting and really made me feel like she actually cared about and respected me.)
