1 /5 Nikki Boyce: I got the regular acrylic nails. Not impressed. The lady filed my skin twice and got it bleeding, didn’t paint my nails all the way to the edges, just down the middle, tried to upsell me the gel polish like regular polish wasn’t even an option (had the regular polish around the corner hidden from plain sight and just handed me a ring that had the gel colors) and finally chose nails that were way too big for my natural nails and just cut the bottom part to fit my finger but didn’t fix the top part so my fingernails look really wide at the top. She didn’t file them down to match the rest of my fingernail and the filing job was horrible. I Re-filed my nails when I got home so they looked more natural. That’s why I wouldn’t let them up-sale me the extra $15 (yes, $15 to get gel polish, you can buy a couple of bottles and lamp for less than that) for gel polish because it was something I was just gonna have to go home and takeoff and redo. Even though I didn’t get the gel color it was still $50! To me, it was $50 wasted. I shouldn’t have tipped. Especially 20%! I just wanted out of there.
