  • What Clients Are Saying about Lakeview Park (on GG)
4 /5 N S: The park is nice but it is probably a better choice if you want to visit the library, the fitness center, or the recreation center. There are several benches to sit, but no picnic areas that I could see. The playground is not suitable for toddlers— the equipment is more appropriate for older kids/young teens. I haven’t been inside the recreation center so cannot comment on that.
5 /5 Carlitos Kings: Rented the gymnasium for a birthday party. Was great
2 /5 Laura Yoder: Its definitely not for toddlers. If you are wanting to work on agility its a good place. Its more a work of art.
4 /5 Greg B: Fun place amazing job fair.
5 /5 Deb Rainey: Went to the neighbors bday party here. Had whole gym to themselves. Everyone had a Great time

Kiki S: Beautiful unexpected city and park. Theres a nice wide walking path and benches and a gazebo. Lots of trash cans also which is convenient and easy free parking nearby. Amazing night view. Do beware of goose poop on the sidewalks/grass!

Naomi: Beautiful place to walk, swing, observe wildlife, & be in awe of nature. Cool bridge over water & plentiful parking. Its got a disk golf course too! The bathrooms are a little uncomfy but if you dont mind that, you could spend all day there! (Theres a more private bathroom w small stalls on the upper level by the theater i believe) They take gazebo reservations i think, too.

Cecily Grace: Love it here. Very sobering thoughts on the whole thing but at the same time alot of people my age that lived around here when this was built and made they can remember bringing in buttons from home as instructed by the teacher.. so yes a great way especially for young minds to take in the sad reality of how much of a big deal and horrible of a time this was.

Ted Sterling: We attended a retirement celebration for a friend & had a nice time visiting with the retiree and friends. Their catered selection was tasty & healthy - salmon, veggies, shrimp, spinach dip, etc. Seating & tables were fine, but the acoustics are impossible for we who are hearing challenged. I wear hearing aids & some locations are just not friendly. This is one of them. Talking was OK close by, but the stage presentation was unintelligible. Sorry!
