He also was raised and saved in this church, the town Mayor and School Board President for many years. Dad was a Naval CB and Combat Vet in the Pacific in WW II.Mr. Ferrell (one of only eight US Civilians to ever be awarded the US Medal of Honor, also was a member of this Church and had his funeral service here and is buried in Elizabethtown.
