First Baptist Church - elizabethtown - Elizabethtown Ross Patton: I was raised, saved and baptized in this Church. My Dads Memorial Service and Military Honor Guard Service was held here three years ago. He also was raised and saved in this church, the town Mayor and School Board President for many years. Dad was a Naval CB and Combat Vet in the Pacific in WW II.Mr. Ferrell (one of only eight US Civilians to ever be awarded the US Medal of Honor, also was a member of this Church and had his funeral service here and is buried in Elizabethtown.
