5 /5 Marquisha Dunlap: I recently took my daughter to the Easter EGGCITEMENT event at SSCC and she had a blast. I really appreciate that they took the time out to organize an event for the children that was free and open to the public. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Hull were amzing!! I couldnt believe how massive this church is on the inside. I am so looking forward to going back.

2 /5 hojo 965: I attended here regularly for several years and finally had enough. Many of the staff who go up front and tell you how welcomed you are, and how glad they are to have you there, well many of them DO NOT mean it. You may see these same individuals, right after church, at an eatery, and you will see their arrogance. They will not even smile at, no lessacknowledge you. They refer to themselves as an outreach ministry, but i found that the case only when in the performance of church related business. The doctrinal teachings are watered down and generic and the alter calls consist of asking if youve ever asked God into your life... etc., NEVER once did i hear an alter call presented as asking if you ever asked Jesus Christ in to your life as Lord and Savior, Or if youve EVER been redeemed by the blood of Jesus...etc. If you want a watered down gospel message, and (unless you personally know somebody) you want to be shunned and not want to talk to anybody, this is the place for you. I have no ill will toward this church, and have no resentment, all incidents are based on personal experience and observation. There are some vey good people that attend, so my elaborations are based on interaction and observations of staff. They need to understand what an outreach ministry should be, and it means much more than sending money to missionaries.

5 /5 rachel yates: We were only able to attend Southside for 6 months, before they closed down for covid a year ago. But, here I am a full YEAR later(how is this even possible?), wishing we could attend in person once more. The first time we walked into Southside, sat in the back, and Brandon got up and started speaking about being slow to anger. I knew instantly this was the right church for us. The upbeat, happy, welcoming, and down to earth people that attend just made it feel like home. Pastor Brooks messages were always so applicable to daily life, whether it be marriage, divorce, parenting, etc. We looked forward to going every Sunday. And after spending 5 years out of church,, that was truly something - to experience a church that we actually desired to be at! We now live halfway across the country, yet have been unable to find another church like Southside. We werent able to attend for very long, but we sure do miss this church!
