2 /5 Victoria Halstead: I have been a customer here for years. It used to be Mindy’s. The staff is nice and I’m usually happy but the last three times have not been relaxing or enjoyable and the pricing is getting out of control. Three times ago, pedicure. Was very rushed. They are now using timers so if it goes off, they stop. Even if mid lotion. And I didn’t get a massage with it at all. The biggest part of a pedicure is to feel pampered. Two times ago, acrylic full set. Called ahead and was told $45. They ended up charging $65 and then they want a tip on top of it. I reached for their pricing pamphlet and there’s not enough choices to be able to add up what was done so you cant Pinpoint what they’re charging you for. So I just swallowed it down. Last time, three people- nochip manicure(45), fill(45) and polish change(30). Again, none of these are in the pamphlet. This is too much money for what it is. But in addition to that, my daughter sat down for the polish change, which I was very clear that all I needed on her was a polish change. It used to be $5 for polish or $15 for gel. The one she sat down with told me $30 and then asked if I wanted them filled. They were just done a week ago so No, just a polish change. She actually shoo’d my daughter away to another technician like we weren’t worth her time. While transitioning to a new station ,the lady told me $15 but then they charged $30. At that point I was just done. But of course I tipped them all out of obligation. It’s really sad because we’ve been loyal customers for a very long time. I know they don’t necessarily know that because they’re new owners, but just throwing out numbers and arbitrarily picking what to charge someone is not the right way to treat people.
