2 /5 John Anthony: Beautiful Church , good sermons....However, this church/parish community has lost more parishioners than it has gained. Long masses, people being turned away for certain requests (a friend of mine was told he couldnt have the Godparents he and his wife wanted for his children. All the Godparents were Christian mind you and a majority of them Catholic. Ended up going to a different CATHOLIC church in a different town and they accommodated him with ease), no later in the day masses on Sunday to accommodate those traveling during the Summer (other Catholic Churches in the other towns have this). Most people who do belong or have left attend mass at the Chapel Located in the Presence St. Joseph Center or have joined St. Thomas on the other side of town.

5 /5 Janet Marie: Father Barr has an excellent understanding of the liturgy and is very passionate about his faith. Father Camacho is a warm and positive personality that refreshes parishioners with his homily. The 2 combined create a lovely Catholic environment in Freeport, IL ~ Janet
