    Abundant Life Church - Bloomington
Duncan Burnham: I very much respect and admire this church and its mission to help the local homeless community. So many of us turn a blind eye to their plight and focus on our wallets instead but this church, its various ministers (especially Pastor Charlie) live to serve and help those in need with more than mere handouts. I am not sure how to do it but this church is the one to give donations to!
Saint Marys Roman Catholic Church, Bloomington - Bloomington
Cassandra Avila: I’m so grateful that we found St. Mary’s when we moved here back in 2008. The parish and the school have been absolutely wonderful and I knew it was home the within the first mass I attended. I cried during mass because I felt Father Greg was speaking directly to me during that first mass I attended and I knew I had been called home. I called my husband right after mass (who was in Indiana) and I told him I found our perish (prior to St. Mary’s I had fallen out of attendance at my previous parish for several reasons). We have attended since and our kids attend St. Mary’s school. I cannot express enough how thankful we are for the parish and school. Wonderful!
The Vineyard Church, Bloomington-Normal - Normal
Alex Hopper: Tried out this church and was disappointed, first u drive in and theres potholes bigger than the craters in mars, then as a first time guest we were welcomed, but it felt like people were being more nosey then welcoming, and as the service started, the pastor said this aint about money but ended the service talking bout money and how their church donations goin to potholes in the parking lot and damages in the building and ect. Didnt hear much about the bible or scriptures or didnt feel any connection to God when I walked out. Just felt like the entire service about having "generousity" = a way about talking bout getting money for the church.

Kevin: Quite a beautiful rendition of Art Deco architecture, in Bloomington, IL. Gorgeous exterior design of brick work. The interior also has a very unique vision for Deco artwork in the art glass, overall design features and minimalist open feel exuding beautiful detailing and accents. Opened in 1934. Created by architects Arthur F. Moratz and George Miller.
